Bournda Orienteering Challenge – Stage 3

Friday 31st May, Term 2 – Week 5

This adventure-style day is designed to build students teamwork and problem-solving skills in a fun and exciting way. Students will begin the day learning the skills they will need to help them complete the ‘Bournda Survivor’ challenge! They will learn how to navigate using a map and compass, use a GPS, apply simple first aid, think about shelter construction and have a go at some knot tying techniques. They will then be challenged to use these skills in a series of fun and adventurous activities. Working in teams they will problem solve, face fun challenges, build shelters and navigate their way around a puzzle solving course.
