Bournda Bike Safari – Stage 3

Wednesday 14th August – Week 4, Term 3

Here is a great opportunity to work on your fitness and wellbeing while studying nature! Students explore different environments and discover the animals that live in them on the Bournda Bike Safari. Starting at the Bournda Environmental Education Centre students learn how to use a map and compass to navigate their way around the National Park by bike. Students collect data as they ride around Bournda and participate in educational activities focused on protecting and understanding the animals that live in and around the National Park.

Students will need to be competent bike riders and can bring along their own bike and helmet; alternatively they can use one of the Bournda bikes.
