EALD and LBOTE – Marine Science Day – Stages 2 and 3

Friday 11th August – Week 4

This Stage 2/3 program is specifically designed for EALD and LBOTE students at your school. The focus for the day will be an exploration of the rock pools at Bournda Island – learning about the adaptations of the variety of species that live there. The students will collect living plants and animals from the rocky share and identify and categorise these specimens using photo ID sheets. Students will use iPads to photograph and record their findings. Students will learn about the ecology of their local marine environment and meet some fascinating creatures along the way!
