Happy, Healthy Ecosystems @ Panboola – Stage 2

Wednesday 26th MAY

World Environment Day is a day for promoting worldwide awareness and action for the environment. Ecosystem Restoration is the theme for the 2021 World Environment Day. Ecosystems support all life on Earth. The healthier our ecosystems are, the healthier the planet – and its people. This program will be based at the Panboola Wetlands and Heritage Project in Pambula. Students will learn about this amazing place and see ecosystem restoration in action. Students will go on a bushwalk of discovery, get their gloves out to help with the ongoing restoration happening at Panboola and explore how other countries from around the world are restoring their ecosystems. Students will be involved in creating a film on the day that will be presented at the BEEC World Environment Day luncheon.

Program cost – $5 per student.
