What’s on for the Bournda Environmental Education Centre?

The BEEC has an exiting range of upcoming events in Term 3 and Term 4:

Creative & Talented Programs  – These Programs fill so quickly! We only have a few spaces available: Science in the lab 7 September & Environmental Art 8 September.

Spring Waterbug Surveys  – Students collect the waterbugs, identify and count them and enter the results online. Equipment is provided. There is NO cost for this program.

Threatened Species Week – Bournda EEC staff can visit your school to deliver a fun and interactive program that includes student role play activities, interesting displays, information and more; in total the activities last for about an hour.

Creative & Talented Programs

The Creative & Talented Programs are in full swing! Four students from four local Public schools are able to attend these programs – they book quickly so teachers are advised to get their expression of interest in early!

K-6 Spring Water Bug Survey (Week 1 & 2 T4 2017)

Bournda EEC can assist your students to conduct waterbug surveys at a waterway close to your school. Students collect the waterbugs, identify and count them and enter the results online. Equipment is provided. There is NO cost for this program. Register your expression of interest!

Threatened Species Week

This year’s program will focus on the threatened and endangered shorebirds that nest along our local beaches.
